Privacy for our coloring apps
Information for parents and guardians
Last updated: October 27, 2026
1. Apps covered
GameUp operates these coloring apps. This notice describes the implementation for the versions listed below. It also applies to later versions that use the same described practices. Other GameUp apps and earlier releases are described by our general privacy policy.
| App | Android package | Version covered |
|---|---|---|
| Glitter Dress Coloring Book | com.GAMEUP.ColoringDress | 1.0.5 (code 5) |
| Glitter Beauty Coloring Book | com.GAMEUP.BeautyColoring | 1.1.2 (code 3) |
| Glitter House Coloring Book | com.GAMEUP.TinyLearners | 1.1.2 (code 3) |
| ABC & Number Coloring for Kids | com.gameup.numberabccoloring | 1.0.0 (code 1) |
Children can use the ordinary coloring and tracing activities without creating an account or supplying a name, email address or birthday. Game settings, progress, coins and saved artwork are kept locally for those activities. If a parent emails us for support, we receive the email address and the information included in that message.
2. Automatic gameplay measurement
We automatically measure which mini-games are chosen, opened and closed, and the time spent actively playing. We use these measurements to understand which activities are used and improve the operation of the games.
The app sends grouped counts and play-time totals to GameUp. This gameplay payload contains the app and mini-game names and a temporary batch reference used to avoid counting a retry twice. It does not contain a player name, email address, drawing, persistent installation or device identifier, or a detailed sequence of a player's actions. The service combines received totals by day, app and mini-game.
This measurement runs automatically when enabled for the app; there is no child-facing switch. GameUp can stop it through its server configuration. If the connection is unavailable, bounded totals can remain on the device for a later attempt.
Firebase Analytics
We also use Google Analytics for Firebase for a limited set of activity events, where the app's startup safety checks permit it. Our custom events identify the app, mini-game, entry or exit reason and playing time. We do not add player names, contact information or drawing contents to those events.
We configure Firebase to deny analytics storage and advertising-related consent categories, disable advertising-ID collection and prevent advertising personalization. These settings restrict processing; they do not mean that the SDK makes no network requests. Google may handle technical information as described in its Analytics for Firebase data disclosure and privacy policy.
3. Advertising
The apps use Google AdMob to display banner ads, ads at selected activity transitions or results, and optional videos that offer game rewards. An optional video offer can be declined.
We request child-directed treatment, general-audience ad content and disabled personalization. These versions disable Android advertising-ID access and publisher first-party ID use. We do not use personalized advertising to target children.
Google Mobile Ads can still process network and device information, including an IP address that can indicate a general location, app or ad interactions, diagnostic information and app-set or other applicable identifiers. Google documents collection and sharing of these data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. The absence of advertising-ID access does not mean that all advertising data collection stops. See Google Mobile Ads data handling and Google's privacy policy.
4. Game services and network information
The apps contact GameUp to retrieve settings for available activities, navigation and ads. The Dress app can also retrieve reward and game-promotion settings. These requests do not need the name of a child to select the correct app configuration.
As with other internet requests, the hosting infrastructure receives network information such as the connection's IP address and technical request information. The gameplay-total application does not write IP addresses or user-agent strings into its measurement records. Hosting, security, proxy and backup systems can maintain separate technical records; those are distinct from the gameplay totals described here.
5. How information is used and disclosed
GameUp uses grouped gameplay measurements to understand feature use and improve game operation, and uses technical requests to deliver app configuration and maintain service reliability. Google processes advertising and SDK information for the purposes described above. Data handled by Google and hosting providers may be processed outside the country where you live.
The GameUp gameplay totals do not provide a list of individual players or a player's history across devices. They are not used by this service to create personalized advertising profiles. Separately collected advertising and SDK data remain subject to the providers' processing and policies.
6. Storage and retention
Game settings, progress and saved artwork are stored on the device for local play. Removing app data can remove those local records; operating-system backup behavior may differ.
The gameplay service uses a 90-day reporting window for daily totals and a 7-day window for retry-detection references. Outdated records are removed when collection, reporting or maintenance runs. Copies in hosting backups and separate access logs are not covered by those application-level windows.
When the app next processes stored totals, it discards a prepared retry batch that is at least 3 days old. Pending totals that have not yet been put into a batch can remain locally until they are sent or collection is disabled; the app limits the amount stored. Google retains its SDK and advertising data under its own applicable service settings and policies.
The GameUp requests described here use HTTPS, and Google documents TLS for Google Mobile Ads. These measures protect data in transit; they are not a promise that no security incident can occur.
7. Parents' questions and requests
For privacy questions, concerns about a child, or requests concerning information you have supplied to GameUp, email contacts@gameup.ma. Include the app name and enough information to explain the request, and avoid sending unnecessary information about a child.
We will review the request in light of the information we hold and applicable requirements. Because the grouped gameplay totals do not contain a persistent player identifier, they do not let us identify or remove a particular child's contribution. Information processed separately by Google or hosting services may be subject to their own request procedures.
A parent gate used for external links or settings is a protection against accidental child actions; it is not presented as verified parental consent to personal-data processing.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this notice when the covered practices change and revise the date above. Practices in older releases may differ.
